Events August 9, 2024 𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐢𝐭 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐮𝐦 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐇𝐄 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 𝐊𝐢𝐜𝐤-𝐨𝐟𝐟 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲 On August 9, 2024, the HER Passion to Profit Forum and the launch ceremony for the ShangHai Honorable Women Entrepreneur Business Award 2024 (SHE 2024), organized by ShangHai Business Media, were successfully held. Over 80 Malaysian female entrepreneurs gathered, showcasing the strength and talent of women in the business world. The event was filled with a sense of empowerment and female solidarity. After the opening remarks by Datin Dr. Cherlin Cheah, CEO of ShangHai Media Sdn Bhd, the first segment of the event featured a panel discussion with three influential female entrepreneurs: Datin Winnie Loo, Founder of A Cut Above; Christina Ng, Founder of Christy Ng Shoes; and Louise Chu, Founder of Claire Organics. These industry leaders shared valuable insights into their business strategies, inspiring other female entrepreneurs to achieve greater success. The forum aimed to empower women entrepreneurs to enhance their business profitability and achieve sustainable growth. The panel discussion provided practical advice on how to drive businesses to new heights, earning enthusiastic applause from the audience.The event reached its climax with the ceremonial launch of the SHE 2024. The SHE Award recognizes the outstanding achievements of female entrepreneurs, upholding the principle of “Supporting Women, Building Futures.” It aims to encourage more women to pursue careers in business and create a gender-equal business environment. The event began with an opening speech by Eric Lee, Founder of Aspial Production, followed by insights from four esteemed judges: Datin Dr. Cherlin Cheah, Datuk Ada Poon, Prof. Dato Dr. Elizabeth Lee, and Dr. Coco Wong, who shared their entrepreneurial experiences. Events September 19, 2023 The Grand Opening of the SHE 2023 On September 19, 2023, the “ShangHai Honourable Women Entrepreneur Business Award 2023” (SHE 2023), organized by the ShangHai Business Media (商海), was officially launched at Media Prima Berhad. The “SHE 2023” aims to recognize the outstanding achievements of women entrepreneurs in the business world, celebrate the entrepreneurial legends created by Malaysian female entrepreneurs in their respective fields, and encourage more young women to embrace the spirit of female entrepreneurship, boldly expand and excel in their careers, and contribute to the economic and community growth of Malaysia. Female entrepreneurs play a crucial role and make significant contributions to building sustainable economic development.
