SHE Launching 2025

Kuala Lumpur, 6 June 2025 – The “Breaking the Cocoon: HER Financial & Intellectual Transformation” Women Entrepreneur High-Level Forum, jointly organized by ShangHai and the ShangHai Businesswomen Social Club, concluded successfully in Kuala Lumpur. More than just a sharing session on how women grow and gain financial empowerment on their entrepreneurial journeys, the event served as a powerful convergence of women’s voices and a thought leadership platform that connected influential female circles.
The forum featured three highly representative and inspiring female entrepreneurs as keynote speakers:
🔹 Lilin Teh – Founder of ALIVE Group, an aromatherapy and yoga instructor with 25 years of mind-body-soul integration experience and over 3,000 workshops conducted. Through her unique “Multi-Dimensional Reading” session, she guided the audience through a healing experience by interpreting emotions and energy from photos. She also shared how to build complementary teams through humility and trust-driven education-led leadership. She emphasized: “Live like a tree – half soaring in the sky, half rooted deep in the earth.”
🔹 Venus Toh – Founder of Shandon Birdnest, who rose from a small-town girl to the entrepreneur behind a brand that once recorded sales of 50,000 bottles of fresh bird’s nest in a single month. She shared how aligning with market trends and maximizing existing resources helped her capture the hearts of Gen Z consumers: “It’s not about how fast you go, but how far. And more importantly, how steadily. Anxiety is nothing to fear—it’s the beginning of growth.”
🔹 Inthira – Founder of Lafre, who transitioned from influencer to brand owner, dedicated to creating safe and healthy local feminine hygiene products. She openly shared how her brand was once underestimated for being local, but she chose to stay true to herself, focusing on creating products with empathy and emotional value. She said: “Always stay humble—that’s how you lead your team to go further.”
Official Launch of the SHE Awards 2025
The forum also saw a highlight moment—the official launch of the ShangHai Honourable Women Entrepreneur Business Awards 2025 (SHE Awards 2025)!
As a prestigious annual recognition curated by ShangHai, the SHE Awards aims to celebrate female entrepreneurs who demonstrate outstanding leadership, innovation, and social impact in the business world. It is more than an accolade—it’s a symbol of awakening in the “Her Era.”
