Events September 26, 2022 The Resilience 30 Women Awards 2022 26 September 2022 – Selangor, Malaysia: Today, we are witnessing more and more historical moments of women who are making a significant difference in the world.  The recent global pandemic has profoundly affected people’s lives around the world. Women and girls have been particularly affected by the disruption and impact caused by the pandemic. Once again, women have shown that they are the backbone of the resilience community. It is time for us to pay tribute to women who had the ability to recover and bounce back from defeats or other kinds of adversities. The Resilience 30 Women Awards 2022 jointly organised by two powerhouses – HAPA® Awards, the “Oscars of Hospitality” for the ASEAN region and ShangHai Media, a renowned Chinese business media, is the first line up of the HAPA® Resilience Awards Series. Tonight, we officially kick-off the first in the Resilience Awards Series – The Resilience 30 Women Awards 2022, a Women Awards created by HAPA® to recognise and honour strong and resilient women in Malaysia. This Awards celebrates women who deserve recognition for their strength, courage and resilience – a mark of a true champion for women in their communities. Their perseverance, determination and ability to bounce back from the recent global pandemic is a monumental achievement and a compelling value that must be recognised, rewarded and celebrated. They are role models and game changers, and they serve as a reminder to all women to stay strong, courageous and resilient. Tonight, is the night to celebrate the Resilience of Women where Awards Recipients and the Top 30 Most Outstanding, Extraordinary and Resilient Women in Malaysia will be recognised. They will be featured in different categories; Bronze, Gold, and Special Recognition.  The Bronze Awards Category highlights extraordinary women who overcame and emerged stronger, amidst the trials and tribulations faced in their careers and businesses during the recent global pandemic and post-pandemic in their respective industries as well as the challenges faced in juggling between work and family matters. Their journey in life reflects greatly on their ability to get back up after each fall. These amazing women truly “Walk the Talk” of Resilience. empowerment to all women in Malaysia.    The Gold Awards Category recognises and honours Top 30 most outstanding, extraordinary and resilient women in Malaysia for their perseverance, determination and courage in pursuing their passion and commitment in business. These amazing individuals are role models who have shown true resilience and their ability to bounce back from adversities, particularly in the last two years of the recent pandemic. Their “Never Give Up” spirit acts as an inspiration and empowerment to other women in their communities. They are the true champions. As the saying goes, “A strong woman never gives up. She may fall many times, but she will always come back stronger”.  The Special Recognition Award recognises and honours women’s dynamism, resilience and outstanding contribution to the business and women community. The Award Recipient is a Woman of Power, a Woman of Positive Influence and a Woman of Meaning, and has achieved distinctive accomplishments in their career, business and in life. These amazing women are advocates for other women that women have the ability to do and achieve whatever they want and fulfil whatever dreams they have as long as they believe in their dreams and pursue it, just like how one of the famous inspirational quotes describe a high achieving woman – “There is no limit to what we, as women, can accomplish”. These Award Recipients are a true role model of a Woman of Substance.  HAPA® Awards is a stringent Audit Assessment programme conducted by a meticulously selected distinguished panel of HAPA® Judges and Auditors. The panel consist of industry leaders and respected individuals with expertise from different hospitality associations, corporate fields, business owners and entrepreneurs as well as the hospitality, culinary and tourism academic sector. This exceptional group of individuals will execute the audit process throughout the duration of the respective HAPA® Awards Series. The audit process will culminate in an exclusive Awards Presentation Ceremony & Gala Charity Dinner night held in Malaysia for all nominees to celebrate and network.

Events June 5, 2022 Resilient Women 30 Awards MOU Signing Ceremony In preparation for the upcoming “Resilient Women 30 Awards 2022” to be held in June, ShangHai Business Media and HAPA® signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with their partners to lead women in boldly stepping forward to create their own paths. Under the witness of Datin’ Sri Elaine Piah, CEO of ShangHai Media Sdn Bhd, ShangHai Business Media and HAPA® signed MOUs with BESPOKE, MRCA Women Division, SME Association of Malaysia, World Global Change (WGC), Malaysia Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WICCI – Malaysia), Malaysia Association Of Wellness & Spa (MAWSPA), Association Of Malaysian Spas (AMSPA), Felement, and The Advisory Club to launch the “Resilient Women 30 Awards 2022,” aimed at recognizing the most outstanding and extraordinary women in Malaysia’s professional and business sectors. The recent global pandemic has deeply impacted lives around the world, particularly affecting women. Yet, women have once again proven to be pillars of resilience within their communities. In conjunction with International Women’s Day 2022, the Resilient Women 30 Awards aims to honor women of the era who have bravely and resiliently overcome challenges.

Events April 28, 2022 The Resilience 30 Women Awards 2022 High Tea Party 3.0 On April 28, 2022, the Resilient Women 30 Awards 2022 Tea Party, co-hosted by HAPA and Shang Hai, was held at CRANE KL in Kuala Lumpur. The event was honored to have Datin Dr. Cherlin Cheah, President of the ShangHai Businesswomen’s Club (SBSC), and Datin Sri Jennifer Ong, Founder of the HAPA Awards, share their valuable insights. Elite female entrepreneurs from various industries in Malaysia gathered to exchange ideas and share their experiences, celebrating the power of women and encouraging them to boldly step forward and create their own paths.

Events March 18, 2022 The Resilience 30 Women Awards 2022 High Tea Party 2.0 On March 18, 2022, the Resilient Women 30 Awards 2022 Tea Party, co-hosted by HAPA and Shang Hai, was successfully held at Avante Hotel in Petaling Jaya. The event was a dazzling gathering of outstanding female entrepreneurs from various fields across Malaysia. In addition to the invited keynote speakers, Datin Dr. Cherlin Cheah, President of the ShangHai Businesswomen’s Club (SBSC), and Datin Sri Jennifer Ong, Founder of the HAPA Awards, the event also featured guest speakers Ms. Yuki Wan, Chief Marketing Officer of PropNex Malaysia, and Ms. Eve Chan, Founder of Soulful Noodles by TimeLight. They shared their entrepreneurial journeys and experiences, celebrating the power of women and encouraging them to boldly step forward and create their own paths.

Events March 4, 2022 The Resilience 30 Women Awards 2022 High Tea Party On March 4, 2022, the Resilience 30 Women Awards 2022 Tea Party, co-hosted by HAPA and Shang Hai, was successfully held at the TDOX Aesthetic Center in Equatorial Plaza, Kuala Lumpur. The event gathered many outstanding female entrepreneurs from various fields. The tea party was honored to have Datin Dr. Cherlin Cheah, Prsident of the ShangHai Businesswomen’s Club (SBSC), and Datin Sri Jennifer Ong, Founder of the HAPA Awards, share their insights. Distinguished female representatives from Malaysia’s business community came together to exchange ideas and share valuable experiences. The event aimed to celebrate women’s resilience and empower them to boldly step forward and create their own paths.
